For the third time there is happening like Phadda Super League, the Multan Sultans have made it to the Pakistan Super League championship game. And my, what a voyage it was. During their game against the Lahore Qalandars on Wednesday night, they had everyone captivated by their television sets. With more than five overs remaining, the blue (and green) shirts defeated the Qalandars by an incredible 84 runs.

The surprising scoreline wasn’t the only factor that sent internet users into a frenzy over the game. The match was replete with heated moments but a face-off between the Qalandars’ Shaheen Shah Afridi and the Sultans’ Kieron Pollard had netizens happy that the PSL has finally ‘peaked’. After all, who doesn’t enjoy seeing drama and fights?

A supporter of Shaheen praised him for having the guts to oppose a seasoned cricketer like Pollard, who was also awarded player of the game. Another supporter clarified that the West Indian wasn’t Bismillah Khan, who was fired immediately after an altercation with Shaheen on the pitch. To be honest, everyone should relax.
