On Saturday night, Marcin Tybura became the first man to beat Alexandr Romanov.
Romanov dominated the veteran in the first round, elevating and slamming him to the canvas on many times as the unbeaten Moldovan heavyweight wanted to get the veteran out of there quickly. But the Polish veteran survived the first round, and by the time the second round began, it was evident that Romanov was running on fumes.

Marcin Tybura dominated the following two rounds by working at a deliberate pace, attacking with kicks to the legs and torso, and mixing in the occasional clean punch that found a home as Romanov gave nothing little. With Romanov pitching a shutout and dominating the first round, it seemed that the two would fight to a draw, but only one judge credited the undefeated wrestler a 10-8 score in the first, resulting in Tybura rebounding to clinch the victory.
