Peshawar Zalmi has played 28 matches in PSL in which he has scored 557 runs at an average of 23. Haider Ali became popular in PSL due to his hitting. He was included in the Pakistan cricket team for the T20 series against Zimbabwe in 2020.

Hyder Ali has scored 499 runs at an average of 18 in 33 T20 matches for Pakistan, while he has also played two ODI matches for the Pakistan team. Before the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia, concerns were being expressed about Hyder Ali’s inclusion in the T20 World Cup squad during the tri-nation series in New Zealand, but after showing a good performance in the final match against New Zealand, Hyder Ali Made his place in the playing eleven of the T20 World Cup.
