New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first against Pakistan in the first semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup. New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson stated after winning the toss at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Wednesday that there is no grass on the pitch and that his team’s emphasis is solely on the game and the conditions.
According to Babar Azam, the coin toss is out of our hands, but we will try to put pressure on them (New Zealand). The tri-series gave us a lot of confidence, but New Zealand has strong players, and we will play cricket as needed.
