Shaheen Afridi’s four-wicket haul has put Pakistan in a strong position to beat Bangladesh and go to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup semi-finals.

Afridi Returns in Style

Afridi returned to his magnificent form with 4/22 at Adelaide Oval, while Bangladesh could only manage 127/8 in superb batting conditions. With the new ball, Pakistan’s paceman took the crucial wicket of Litton Das (10) before returning at the death to guarantee Bangladesh’s total was below par.

Bangladesh had made a great start, reaching 73/1 in the 11th over, but Shadab Khan’s two wickets in consecutive deliveries, including the vital scalp of Shakib Al Hasan for a golden duck, swiftly reversed the trend.
