Tickets for the 2022 T20 World Cup biggest clash between India and Pakistan are already sold out

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Thursday that tickets for India’s T20 World Cup 2022 encounter against archrival Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on October 23 had been sold out. Additional standing room tickets were “snatched up within minutes of going on sale,” according to the ICC. Over 500,000 tickets have been sold for the forthcoming major tournament in Australia, which begins next month, according to the world cricket organization. In their first Super 12s match, India and Pakistan will square off.

Extra tickets are sold too quick

The India vs. Pakistan match at the MCG on October 23 is completely sold out, with extra standing room tickets selling out within minutes of being on sale. The ICC said that an official re-sale website would be available closer to the tournament, when fans will be able to swap tickets at face value.

People from 82 nations have purchased tickets to see the world’s finest players from 16 international teams, marking the return of full stadiums at ICC events for the first time since the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2020, which drew 86,174 fans to the final at the MCG, it said.
