For quite some time, Rashid Khan has been a crucial member of the Afghanistan cricket squad. He has also shown his talent in T20 tournaments all around the globe with his famous Helicopter Shot. In the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Monday, the Lahore Qalandars under Shaheen Afridi defeated Islamabad United under Shadab Khan.
Rashid Khan’s Helicopter Shot
The Qalandars scored 200/7 in 20 overs when batting first, with Abdullah Shafique leading the way with a 24-ball 45. Islamabad responded by being dismissed for 90 runs in 13.5 overs. Rashid Khan and Sikandar Raza each grabbed two wickets for the Qalandars, while David Wiese claimed three wickets. Rashid, a renowned batsman for Afghanistan, added to the effort with a score of 18 from 12 balls.

His innings included six and two fours. Against Tom Curran, the six was hit in the innings’ 19th over his famous Helicopter Shot. Rashid threw Curran over midwicket with the third delivery of the over as the ball soared into the bleachers. Afterward, PSL announced that a massive Rashid Khan helicopter shot with a maximum height of 99 meters was going off in Lahore. It went 99 meters.

Rashid became the second bowler to reach 500 wickets in the game’s shortest format while representing MI Cape Town in the SA20 League in January. Rashid accomplished the feat by removing Clyde Fortuin from the game against Pretoria Caps in the 14th over. Dwayne Bravo, an all-around cricketer for the West Indies, is the only other player to have 500 T20 wickets. Rashid has long been a crucial member of the Afghanistan cricket squad and has shown himself in T20 competitions all around the globe.
