In PSL8, after the completion of their international obligations in Bangladesh, England players Jason Roy and James Vince will return to their respective teams, the Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings, on March 7. Until then, Adam Rossington will fill in for Vince in the Karachi Kings camp while Najibullah Zadran will cover for Jason Roy in the Quetta Gladiators camp. Dasun Shanaka, the captain of Sri Lanka, who was a member of the Peshawar Zalmi team for the HBL Pakistan Super League 8, will return to play in the away series against New Zealand. In the meanwhile, Quetta Gladiators have added Yasir Khan to their lineup as a supplemental choice. Yasir formerly represented Peshawar Zalmi.
