Shaheen Shah Afridi, a left-arm bowler who bowled flawlessly, removed Babar. Babar attempts a sluggish drive as the speedster lofts a ball beyond the off stump. With the score at 28 in 2.5 overs and Zalmi needing to chase 242, they lost both of their openers, Babar and Mohammad Haris, in rapid succession. In the first innings of the Pakistan Super League match against Peshawar Zalmi, pace fast bowler of Pakistan Shaheen Afridi made an impression.

The opening ball of the innings for the Lahore Qalandars’ team, bowled by skipper Shaheen Afridi, shattered Mohammad Haris’ bat, and the following delivery, bowled by Shaheen, sent the stumps flying. Babar Azam, the captain of Zalmi and the Pakistan national team, was also removed by Shaheen a few overs later.

Shaheen returned to cricket with the Pakistan Super League after two months away from the sport. His knee ailment flared up again during the T20 World Cup final in November of last year, causing Shaheen to quit the game halfway as Pakistan lost to England.

The left-arm bowler has performed very well thus far in his PSL return, picking up 10 wickets in only four games. Shaheen Afridi finally finished the game with a five-wicket haul, and his brilliant 5/40 from four overs allowed the Qalandars to hold Zalmi to 201/9 after they posted a massive 240/3 in 20 overs.
