PSL 2023: Afghan spinner Rashid Khan joins Lahore Qalandars

Rashid Khan, a leg spinner from Afghanistan, arrived in Pakistan late on Tuesday to compete in the eighth Pakistan Super League (PSL). Khan, according to reports, landed in Pakistan late Monday night through Dubai.

Rashid khan is back in Qalandars

On its official Twitter account, Lahore Qalandars greeted the cricketer from Afghanistan with the phrase “Khush Amdeed” (welcome). Sam Billings of England was playing for Lahore in lieu of Khan after being snagged by the reigning champions Qalandars in an online Replacement Draft for the PSL 2023.

Billings expressed his happiness upon joining the Lahore Qalandars family on Twitter, writing: “Very excited to join the Lahore Qalandars family! Looking forward to performing in Pakistan for the first time.

The spinner, who is 24 years old, will take part in today’s match between the Lahore Qalandars and the Quetta Gladiators in Karachi. Due to obligations at home, the leg-spinner was unable to guarantee his participation.
