PSL 2023: Billings, Jordan to join Lahore Qalandars as Shai Hope departs

Sam Billings and Jordan Cox will arrive in Pakistan to join Lahore Qalandars on February 23 and 25, respectively. The Lahore Qalandars bounced back to defeat Quetta Gladiators by 63 runs on Tuesday at Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena (NBCA) after losing to Karachi Kings by a score of 67 runs on Sunday. In their 20 overs, the Qalandars batted magnificently, scoring 198 runs while holding Quetta to 135. Shaheen Afridi, the captain of the Qalandars, was awarded player of the game for his outstanding 3-for-22 run.

For the remainder of their league games, Lahore Qalandars will now go to their home field. They are presently in second place on the points table after winning two of their first three games in this tournament. In their home stadium, they defeated Multan Sultans to kick off their PSL 8 season. They traveled to Karachi to compete in their subsequent match against the local team, which they lost by a score of 67 runs. They defeated Gladiators with ease thanks to their united effort in the third game on Tuesday.
