Peshawar Zalmi Beat Karachi Kings by 24 runs, Matthew Wade the starting midfielder for Karachi Kings, still thinks that his club has a decent opportunity to go to the postseason in the current Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8. Wade remarked in a statement to the media after the Kings’ 24-run defeat to Peshawar Zalmi on Wednesday in Rawalpindi that they failed to make use of their chances and lost games despite coming dangerously close.

Although seeming to be in terrific form, opener Matthew Wade was dismissed by Mujeeb Ur Rahman after reaching 53 runs in 41 balls. With Wade’s departure, the Kings lost their direction and often lost wickets. Imad Wasim, the club’s captain, achieved an unbroken 57 runs in 30 balls but was unable to lead his side to victory. Each Aamer Jamal and Omarzai took three wickets, while Mujeeb took two.
