The Pakistan Cricket Board has chosen to conduct the HBL PSL 8 final on Saturday, March 18, at the Gaddafi Stadium, with Sunday and Monday to be considered as reserve days after taking into account the poor weather expected for the next few days. The final was originally slated to take place in Lahore on March 19th.
PSL 8 final
The HBL PSL 8 is our flagship event, according to Najam Sethi, chair of the PCB Management Committee. As fervent cricket fans wait impatiently to see their favorite team declared the winner, all the teams strive and train all year to not only qualify for the final but also win the Supernova Trophy.

“As a result, and based on the knowledge regarding the terrible weather prediction that is currently available, it is a logical and proactive approach that we use the off-day, play the final on Saturday, and use Sunday and Monday as reserve days. This will provide us with two backup days in case the match cannot be finished or must be played on Saturday rather than the customary one.

We have spoken with the Play-offs teams, and they have not only agreed with our choice but also backed and supported it. Tickets purchased for Sunday’s game will still be valid for Saturday’s rescheduled final, so cricket fans won’t be inconvenienced.
