Liam Dawson ruled out, Big Blow for Qalandars
Dawson reportedly hurt his ankle during his team’s match against the Karachi Kings on Sunday. Once the all-rounder was examined by medical professionals at a nearby hospital, they suggested that Dawson take four to six weeks off. The PSL team for Dawson, Qalandars, announced on Twitter that the all-rounder is been out for the current campaign owing to an ankle injury.

“Due to an ankle injury, Liam Dawson is unable to participate in [PSL 8]. We wish him a quick recovery,” tweeted Qalandars. Dawson will thus return to England to complete his recovery there. For the remaining rounds of the tournament, his PSL team, the Qalandars, has not yet announced his replacement.

It is crucial to add that Qalandars will take against Sarfaraz Ahmed-led Quetta Gladiators on Tuesday. With two points, the reigning champions are now in last place in the PSL 8 rankings, while Gladiators are in fifth.
