MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Jay Shah, and Arun Dhumal were all summoned to the stage following their performances. Pandya carried the commanders’ trophies as they entered in chariot-like vehicles. They had a picture taken with the trophy as the event came to a close. The season opener between the reigning champion Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings will take place in the same location after the major event. The IPL’s opening ceremony today is also the league’s first since last year.

Dhoni stated after the toss, “We’re also interested in bowling. Seems like a solid pitch, and I don’t see it changing. Because it rained the night before, it is unknown if there would be dew. You want to perform in front of an audience. The capacity of this stadium is double that of other stadiums. Wonderful atmosphere. The planning was sound. We came together quite early. Having it is a luxury (impact player). Because you can use it whenever you want, making a decision becomes a little easier. Because of the regulation, allrounders’ influence has significantly decreased.”

During the toss, Dhoni said: “Furthermore, we wanted to bowl. I don’t believe it will alter, and it seems like a nice wicket. Due to yesterday night’s rain, it is unknown if there will be dew. Playing in front of others is what you want. This stadium can hold twice as many people as other stadiums. Excellent atmosphere. That was well planned. We got together early. Possessing it is a luxury (impact player). Because you may utilise it at any time, making a decision becomes significantly simpler. The regulation has resulted in a minor reduction in the influence of allrounders.”
