Injury Rules Sarfaraz Ahmed Out at Crucial Stage in PSL 8

PSL 8, Due to an injury sustained in the last game, Sarfaraz Ahmed, the Quetta Gladiators’ captain, will be out from today’s crucial encounter against Peshawar Zalmi. Sarfaraz was rushed to a hospital for scans after being struck by a scorching delivery that injured his left ring finger during the match against Karachi Kings on Monday.

Sarfaraz Ahmed Ruled Out of PSL8

Sarfaraz Ahmed is still in agony despite the fact that the tests indicated there was no fracture, thus he will be unable to serve as the team’s captain during today’s encounter against Peshawar Zalmi. With his absence, the team’s outstanding all-arounder Mohammad Nawaz will assume leadership responsibilities, while Bismillah Khan has been selected to take over as wicket-keeper.

In the previous game against Karachi Kings, Sarfaraz’s ailment also stopped him from continuing with wicket-keeping responsibilities during the last 2.2 overs of the innings. Despite being hurt, Sarfaraz was still able to get to the crease when his team needed him to bat.
