In the Pakistan Super League (PSL), renowned all-rounder Imad Wasim set a notable record by being the first player to amass 1,000 runs and 50 wickets. During their last game against Lahore Qalandars, Imad grabbed the wickets of David Wiese and Dilbar Hussain, becoming the first cricketer in the league to reach this milestone.

The 34-year-old cricketer’s best stats are 3 for 16, and he now has 51 wickets in 74 innings at an average of 34.07. Moreover, he is the 11th bowler in the PSL with 50 wickets. Imad has amassed 1,086 PSL runs in 63 innings, averaging 27.15 runs per inning and striking out at a rate of 140.85.

Moreover, he is the 14th batter to surpass 1,000 runs in the PSL. While the Karachi Kings were unable to advance to the playoff round, the left-handed all-rounder had an outstanding individual campaign in the current ninth season.

Imad has scored 404 runs in 10 innings at an average of 134.67 and a strike rate of 170.46, including three half-centuries, making him the third-highest run scorer in the competition. The left-arm spinner for his team also bowled beautifully, with his best bowling statistics of 3 for 16 while collecting nine wickets in 10 innings at an average of 28.22.
