ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 match schedule released

The top ten teams in the world will begin their quest for the greatest reward in T20 cricket when South Africa takes on Sri Lanka in the first match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup on 10 February at Newlands, according to the fixture schedule for Africa’s largest ever women’s sports event. Fans can now purchase tickets for the 23 matches that will take place in Cape Town, Paarl, and Gqeberha over the next 15 days.

The world’s greatest cricketers will take center stage for a distinctly African cricket celebration culminating in a Finals weekend at Newlands Cricket Ground on Sunday, February 26 with the winner being declared on Sunday, February 26. Tickets start at R60, with reductions available for students and seniors. Families may take advantage of the activity, as children under the age of six are admitted free to all locations. Bangladesh and Ireland round out the field, joining Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies in the eighth edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup, which promises to be a fantastic celebration for everyone.

The final match schedule was unveiled on Monday at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town in a distinctly African occasion attended by ICC Ambassador Mithali Raj. The T20 World Cup, a game-changing opportunity for South African cricket, will aim to be the most inclusive and accessible cricket event ever played in the nation, as part of back-to-back World Cups that will leave a legacy of increasing girls’ and women’s involvement.

The Western Cape will host a busy first weekend of the Women’s T20 World Cup. The inaugural double-header will be held at Boland Park, with England and the West Indies playing first, followed by reigning champions Australia taking on New Zealand. The second double-header at Newlands will feature four sub-continent teams, with India facing Pakistan and Bangladesh facing Sri Lanka.
