The Player of the Month is a fantastic all-rounder who significantly aided Australia’s 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup winning campaign. Although facing stiff opposition from England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt and South African starter Laura Wolvaardt, Ashleigh Gardner was the driving force behind Australia’s victory in the tournament in South Africa.
The Australia all-rounder was at the top of her game for much of February, which was a big factor in how her team won the T20 World Cup for the third time in a row. The 25-year-old Gardner not only won the event with an astounding 110 runs at an average of 36.66, but she also picked up 10 crucial wickets with her off-spin, earning her the title of Player of the Tournament.
