Three Asian players have been named as finalists for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month Award in October 2022.
Nida Dar (Pakistan)
Last month, the all-rounder had an outstanding performance for Pakistan in the Women’s Asia Cup. Dar scored 145 runs in six matches at an average of 72.50 and took eight wickets at 14.87 runs per wicket. This includes a great all-round performance against India, as she scored 56* and then bowled 2/23 to lead Pakistan to a historic triumph. Dar played a challenging batting position for Pakistan throughout the tournament, and he also provided breakthroughs when needed & Shortlisted for ICC Women’s Player of the Month.
Deepti Sharma (India)

Last month, the all-rounder demonstrated why she is such an important component of the Indian squad with an amazing performance in the Women’s Asia Cup. Deepti appeared in eight games and took 13 wickets at a stunning average of 7.69, with peak spells of 3/7 and 3/27 against Thailand and Pakistan, respectively. She also contributed a magnificent 64-run innings to India’s victory over the UAE, demonstrating the all-around influence she had on the squad. Deepti was also named Player of the Tournament for her all-around performance & Shortlisted for ICC Women’s Player of the Month.
Jemimah Rodrigues (India)
The 22-year-old was India’s top batter in the Women’s Asia Cup, helping the team to victory. During the event, Rodrigues accumulated 217 runs at a fantastic average of 54.25. Her two outstanding innings of 78 and 75* came against Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates, respectively. India won both matches, and she was named Player of the Match in both thus he got Shortlisted for ICC Women’s Player of the Month Both of her knocks came at crucial moments, propelling India to victory.
