Gurbaz wreaks havoc as Islamabad United thumps…
After losing their first wicket at position 31, United ran into their first snag. Colin Munro was clean bowled by Arshad Iqbal, but an unstoppable Gurbaz attacked the United bowlers. In only 8.2 overs, Gurbaz and Dussen amassed an amazing 98 runs. After being caught by Kohler-Cadmore at leg-spinner Usman Qadir’s ball after the Afghan batsman mishandled a sweep, Gurbaz made his way back to the pavilion.

The win for United was secured by Asif Ali’s 29 runs off of 13 and Azam Khan’s 9 runs off of 6 balls. Zalmi, Iqbal, James Neesham, and Qadir each secured one wicket. With 50 runs allowed in his four costly overs, Qadir turned out to be quite the pricey bowler.
