FIFA Releases New World Cup Song Featuring Nora Fatehi and Manal Benchlikha

This past Friday, the Qatar World Cup’s official song, “Light the Sky,” received its official music video debut from the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).

Along with singers Balqees Nora Fatehi from the United Arab Emirates and Rahma Riad from Iraq, the song features Moroccan talents Manal Benchlikha and Nora Fatehi. RedOne, a Moroccan producer who is FIFA’s Creative Entertainment Executive also created “Light the Sky.” The choice of vocalists for this year was well received by Arab fans, who frequently shared comments on social media applauding “the power of Arab women.”
