Colin Munro fined for PSL Code of Conduct breach

Colin Munro of Islamabad United has been penalized 10% of his match fee for a level 1 violation of the HBL Pakistan Super League Code of Conduct that occurred during his team’s Qualifier 1 defeat to Peshawar Zalmi on Thursday.

Munro was found to have broken article 2.2, which addresses the mistreatment of cricket gear, apparel, or fixtures and fittings. Salman Irshad bowled him, and he struck the stumps with his bat.

Munro admitted confessed to the accusation and agreed to the punishment Roshan Mahanama suggested. On-field umpires Ahsan Raza and Faisal Afridi, third umpire Alex Wharf, and fourth umpire Rashid Riaz all made the accusation.
