Victor Henry finished with a total of 30-27 points
The first round was fought at a breakneck pace, with Barcelos getting an early advantage on the feet and even a takedown in the final minute. But, once Victor Henry gauged his opponent’s speed and timing, he began landing and injuring him. And as the crowd erupted as the local favorite surged late, Barcelos walked back to his corner bloodied and in desperate need of a between-rounds break.

The second round was just as intense as the first, with Barcelos gaining steam and Henry still working on his first, making it a difficult frame to call as the two continued to exchange in the pocket at a high level of technical expertise. In the third, Victor Henry’s pressure began to erode Barcelos’ defenses, but the Brazilian would rally again in the final minute before the judges intervened.
