Chris Gayle, the Indian Premier League’s greatest scorer, scored a personal BBL best score of 100* while playing for Sydney Thunder versus Adelaide Strikers in the inaugural BBL season. With the first two innings of the Melbourne Stars being played at home, Matthew Wade’s 130* for the Hobart Hurricanes in Adelaide is the best player score in BBL history.
