The BCCI has provided an update on the injuries suffered by Rohit Sharma, Deepak Chahar, and Kuldeep Sen.
Rohit Sharma’s finger injury
The captain, Rohit Sharma, injured his finger during the second ODI in Dhaka and will miss the final match in Chattogram. After a special consultation in Mumbai, his availability for the Test series will be determined. The captain was injured during the fourth delivery of Mohammed Siraj’s second over, when Rohit, who was fielding in the slip cordon, tried to catch a ball and injured his thumb. He was immediately removed from the game and replaced by Rajat Patidar.

Big Loss for India
However, Rohit came out to bat at No.9 and fought valiantly, scoring a valiant 28-ball 51* during India’s 272-run chase. Despite his best efforts, India fell short by 5 runs, giving Bangladesh a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. Rohit now faces a race against time, with the Test series beginning on December 14 in Chattogram. Deepak Chahar (hamstring strain) and Kuldeep Sen (stress injury) have also been ruled out of the series. The former did not play in the second ODI in Mirpur, while Chahar only bowled three overs. Kuldeep Yadav, a spinner, has been called up to the squad for the final ODI.
