Thus, Al-Nassr has become an important player in football and has a lot of eyes on them in the blink of an eye. And it does not seem that the club is content with merely signing Ronaldo. They seem to be interested in Luka Modric, whose current contract with Real Madrid expires at the conclusion of the season. And his future at the Santiago Bernabeu looks to be in doubt.

According to Okaz (via Foot Mercato), Al-administration Nassr has filed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Modric, with a total salary of €40 million over the same time. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Modric, and if he will join former colleague Ronaldo in Al-Nassr. The original idea was that Modric would wind up extending his contract with Real Madrid due to how well the Croatian midfielder has been playing despite being 37 years old.

But things seem to have changed in recent years, and it appears that his performance levels on the field have declined significantly since the World Cup. Is it feasible that Modric may be leaving Real Madrid soon? Stranger things have undoubtedly occurred in football. Modric is still capable of playing at the greatest level, as he has shown for Real Madrid this season and in the World Cup.
