Aaqib Javed, a former Pakistani bowler, has provided insight into the concept behind the creation of Lahore Qalandars and their arduous path to victory in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Aaqib Javed claimed in an interview that the management was eager to revive Pakistan cricket’s heyday in the 1990s in order to engage supporters with a similar level of fervor. In support of his claim, Aaqib said that Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis will always be remembered for their contributions to Pakistan cricket.

The head coach went on to say that while players with the talent of the two Ws don’t come around every century, other bowlers may be taught the proper techniques to represent their nation with dignity.

Then, he said, “we were hunting for a new-ball bowler, and we discovered Zaman Khan.
I had the vision to envisage Shaheen as a left-arm pacer, Haris Rauf with his devastating pace. The former fast bowler continued by saying that these three fast bowlers can perform in the same manner as the three great Pakistani fast bowlers of the past.

Finally, Aaqib remarked, “Bowling always wins you championships. I don’t believe anyone in franchise history has ever had an assault like our five or six bowlers.
