Aamer, Salman pace show helps Zalmi eliminate United out of PSL8

Shadab Khan, the captain of Islamabad United, won the toss and chose to go to the field earlier. Peshawar Zalmi, who batted first, completed their 183 runs in the allocated 20 overs while losing eight wickets. But, the bowler for Peshawar Zalmi comes back with a few wickets. Maqsood and hales were clean bowled by Aamer Jamal, while Salman Irshad secured the crucial dismissals of Azam Khan and Colin Munro. Shadab Khan, the captain, finished with 26 off 12, but his innings were ineffective because Peshawar won by 12 runs. Aamer Jamal and Salman Irshad both grabbed two wickets for Peshawar Zalmi, while Omarzai secured one wicket. The winner of the game was named Aamer Jamal. Today at 7 o’clock, Peshawar Zalmi will take on Lahore Qalandars in the Second Eliminator at Gaddafi Stadium. The victor of the second elimination round advances to Saturday’s final, when they will take versus Multan Sultans.
