70% salaries paid to foreign players of five teams in PSL 8

The franchises have not yet provided the finance department with information on the local players on the other two teams. 70% of the salary of the five PSL teams’ foreign cricketers has been paid. The money will, however, be given to the sixth team on Monday.

The four teams’ local players have also received checks. The finance department is awaiting information from the franchises on the local players of the other two clubs, according to the sources. They don’t mind the delay, a team representative has said, since the PCB, not the franchises, is responsible for making the payment. According to PCB sources, “the country’s present economic predicament has nothing to do with the delay, and they have the money to pay for the PSL.”

Cheques were expected to be presented to the four teams’ local players in Islamabad yesterday. The finance division is still awaiting franchise information on the nearby players for the other two clubs. Payment has been guaranteed to be made within 24 hours of receiving this information. All overseas cricket players will have received 70% of their pay by Monday, while Pakistani players will earn the same amount the next week.

It is important to remember that the last 30% will be paid in accordance with the predetermined schedule following the event. The daily stipend for the first stage, which was given at a rate of 11,000 rupees per day, had already been distributed to all of the participating participants.
